Only small and remote areas were spared. Some city-dwellers lived this holocaust and poured from their citites to farms mostly suffering from radiation poisioning. They were slaughtered by farmers so the farmers could protect their families and livestock. This was known as the age of chaos. Soon the farmers realised that they did not escape the holocaust without any negative repercussions. Mutations in man and beast were high. A totalitarian Council was formed by the most powerful farmers to protect their community from further harmful effects of the great white. The council was soon united with a fledgling religion the Herder Faction. Soon any human or beast born with any sort of physical or obvious mutation were condemned by the council and Herders as seditioners and Burt to the stake in the view of the public. These burnings eventually took on a ritual air. After a time The Herders alerted the council that not all mutantcies were visible at birth.
